"I first acquired a liking for Kiosk when my dad discovered them whilst watching a BBC documentary on Iran (Rageh Inside Iran). That was his and my first introduction to Taraneh.
I straightaway downloaded all the songs to my mobile so that I could listen to them on the school bus everyday. I live in Maidenhead (UK) and go to school in Reading which is 20 miles away.
I have been learning to play classical piano and singing from the age of 4 but after discovering Kiosk I started to learn a bit of guitar too. I think my dad once paid a complement to Kiosk which I liked very much and I would like to share with you about. He said:
'Out of all the rock bands he used to follow in the 1980s when he was a teenager, if he was ever talented enough to make it as a rock Star, then he would want to make music like Kiosk, play the guitar like Kiosk, write lyrics like Kiosk and sound like Arash.'
